More Details

As glass processing techniques become more varied, a wide range of materials can now be combined with glass. Low temperature ultra clear EVA interlayer is designed to meet the requirements of composite materials that are sensitive to high temperatures when paired with glass, such as acrylic (PMMA), silk fabric, heat-sensitive color-changing materials, wicker, and sensitive paper, INNOLA EVA Film has developed a low temperature (minimum 70℃) EVA film.

  • Product Overview: Innola Low-Temp Ultra-Clear EVA Film is a premium-grade interlayer formulated with imported raw materials and advanced performance additives. Specially engineered for artistic and decorative laminating, it achieves excellent melt flow, superior cross-linking, and pristine optical clarity at a low temperature of just 70°C. It is the ultimate choice for encapsulating heat-sensitive inserts (such as fine silk, textiles, organic polymers, and decorative metals) without risk of damage. It also supports standard high-temperature cross-linking (125°C) to meet heavy-duty outdoor structural specifications.

  • Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): Regular stock available; no minimum order volume required.

  • Clarity / Transparency Grade: Ultra-Clear / Premium Optical Grade

  • Available Thicknesses: 0.38 mm / 0.76 mm

  • Length: 50m - 100m

  • Width: 600mm - 2600mm

  • 0.38mm Standard Weight: 340 g/m²

  • Melt Flow Index (MFI): 12 - 16 g/10 min

  • Processing Temperature Range: 80°C (Low-Temp Mode) to 125°C (High-Temp Mode)

  • UV Blocking Rate (at 380nm): ≥ 99%

  • Shelf Life: 12 Months (Unopened/Original Packaging)

  • Packaging Specifications: Vacuum Sealed Bag + Shockproof Bubble Cushioning + Heavy-Duty Composite Kraft Roll Box

Main Characteristics

  • 70°C Low-Temperature Protection for Delicate Inserts: Achieves flawless adhesion and maximum optical clarity at low processing temperatures. It is engineered specifically to eliminate burning, shrinkage, or discoloration when laminating heat-sensitive elements like premium silk, linen, artisan paper, organic plants, or acrylic (PMMA).

  • High Flow Ability — The Enemy of Wire Mesh Bubbles: Features an optimized Melt Flow Index (MFI: 12-16). The flowing resin perfectly encapsulates intricate wire meshes, metallic fabrics, and thick textiles, expelling air completely to eliminate micro-bubbles or void-induced delamination.

  • Ultra-Clarity: Complies with strict Ultra-Transparency optical standards. The cured film offers a high-definition, haze-free profile that elevates the visual presentation of decorative inserts and artistic wire installations.

  • Dual-Temperature Processing Versatility: Flexible dual-mode processing. At 125°C, it reaches a high cross-linking density of 85%–90% with maximum structural strength, ideal for high-performance outdoor architectural laminated glass.

  • Universal Multi-Substrate Bonding: Universally bonds inorganic substrates (float glass, low-iron glass, marble, ceramics, metals) with organic polymers (PMMA/Acrylic, PC, PET, PVC) and delicate decorative inserts seamlessly.

  • Elite UV Filtering & Weather Resistance: Blocks over 99% of harmful UV rays (under 380nm). It protects interior decorative inserts against fading and yellowing, maximizing the lifespan of artistic installations.

Recommended Applications & Processing Modes

Processing Flexibility

This multi-purpose film is suitable for low-temperature decorative laminating (e.g., wire mesh, fabric, acrylic combinations) as well as high-temperature processing for heavy-duty outdoor structural laminated glass.

  • Processing Mode A (Low-Temp Processing @ 70°C): Yields excellent bonding capability and optimal optical clarity without overheating the core materials.

  • Processing Mode B (High-Temp Processing @ 125°C): Yields peak adhesion energy, maximum optical transmission, and a cross-linking density of 85%–90% for high-durability projects.

Substrate Compatibility Guide

  • Inorganic Materials: Float glass, tempered glass, low-iron glass, marble slabs, ceramic tile surfaces, metals, and their respective printed graphics.

  • Organic Polymers: PMMA (Acrylic), Polycarbonate (PC), PET, PVC sheets, and their printed decorative overlays.

  • Interlayer Inserts: Premium silk, decorative wire mesh, fabrics, polymer, woven cotton/linen, specialty artisan washi paper, and custom prints PET films.

⚠️ Important Technical Note: When installing finished laminated glass, always verify the chemical compatibility of perimeter sealants (such as structural silicone or weatherproofing sealants) with the EVA interlayer. Certain incompatible chemical sealants or aggressive chemical detergents can migrate into the edge, causing delamination, edge bubbling, or localized blackening.

Storage, Handling & Transportation

  • Environmental Control: Store in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse where the temperature remains below 25°C (77°F) and relative humidity (RH) is strictly below 50%.

  • Physical Protection: Avoid direct sunlight, prevent water or moisture ingress, keep away from localized heat sources (radiators/machinery), and do not place heavy, concentrated loads on the rolls to prevent pressure-creasing.

  • Partially Used Rolls: Reseal remaining film meticulously in its original moisture-barrier packaging. Before using an opened roll for a new production run, it is highly recommended to process a small test sample (minimum 0.5 m²) to verify that no moisture absorption has compromised the film quality.

  • Usage Window: Once the original protective vacuum packaging is opened, take protective dust-proof and moisture-proof measures. It is recommended to consume the roll fully within 3 months.
